The 2010 State Wrestling Duals meet were by far the closest matches I've seen all year. The ebb and flow of skill level resulted in plenty of six-minute matches, in addition to the occasional first-round pin. For the most part, though, the underskilled wrestlers would not submit. Getting pinned seems to be associated with quitting. Of course, some of these boys have been wrestling since they were five and their skill level is hard to match. But the ones who lost never simply rolled over....
