He grew up with Kevin Durant and Charles "Chuckie" Craig was his basketball coach, too.
NBA super star Kevin Durant has donated a substantial amount of money to help renovate the Seat Pleasant Activity Center where he learned to play basketball. Durant's AAU coach and mentor Charles "Chuckie" Craig, who worked at the Activity Center, was gunned down in May 2005 at the age of 35. Durant wears #35 in Craig's honor.
